Fracking Education

Here is a video from earlier this year that details the dangers of hydraulic fracturing for natural gas. While many states are letting gas companies forge ahead with the drilling, the process by which the cleaner fossil fuel is obtained is harming the environment. A lot of people who have been affected by this type of drilling have spoken out about what this has done to the environment and their livelihoods. Just last week, the EPA declared that hydrofracking was the poisoner of a Wyoming town's water supply. This sort of practice, while giving us access to a cleaner fuel supply, is why we need the EPA. This is why we need to be concerned about the environment. The gas companies surely don't care, they just want their product so they can turn a profit. Fight for the prevention of hydrofracking and for the development of a more environmentally friendly way to obtain natural gas. We should be able to do both without killing ourselves.
